Getting an accurate number on harvest is not that easy. Counts on the ground mean little if there are large number of blanks, or the kernel fill has not been ideal. Then you have the storage period of up to 8mths in which hull-rot and mycotoxin issues can appear.
I tend to focus more on the market end and the processing efficiency.
