May position report shows crop receipts to date up 12% with shipments up 18%
With two months to go it appears clear that the carry out will be less than last years crop, it could even be equal to or lower than the year before. Bodes well for keeping a floor under the almond price especially with about 10% of the next crop already forward sold.
