Blind Freddie could have made the call on the sale of the Blackspur assets. It's managements stated objective.
The sale of the same assets fell through recently and since then the oil price and outlook has only trended lower.
The Montney sale gives holders a very good idea of managements ability to seal a decent price for assets.
It's very clear that this is a buyers market.
Don't be surprised if the deal disappoints just like the last one.
