H, say a HIV positive person goes off their ART treatment due to problems with side effects, say, and has a 'drug holiday', could their viral load be expected to go up in most or all instances?
I've read studies that show across a large statistical cohort, it on average goes up dramatically within even a couple of days of stopping their ART. But i'm not clear if this would be expected in all, most or just a majority by a small margin.
Reason for the query is i'm as interested as Buda is in how at least the only trial Calimmune participant we know of seems to be doing great without his HAART drugs, and it's been a few months now. Seems to good to be true for that to be because of Cal-1 this early in the trial.
