CALIX updates

as per @bcjk3 post yesterday, [read it in full here], at the Paydirt Minerals conference in Perth, Ken Brinsden was very upbeat about the May 11 MOU with Eastern-states based Calix  to build a an ESG friendly demonstration plant;

“PLS well down the path of changing HR lithium industry (Calix), due to ESG (not exact words he used but pretty much the thematic)
- Calcination via Calix is probably better than industry norm with conventional calcination technique atm.
- Calix flash calcines the fines concentrate in the period of time it takes the fines spod to fall down the heated tube. It's electrified, powered by renewable energy. Key to future of lithium raw material supply chain and taking carbon out.
- Game changer as far as the industry is concerned. Higher value lithia salt created with 96% less waste. Deal the lithium downstream.
- Opens up new geographical markets NA/Europe etc​

I thought it might be useful to start a thread focused on Calix to follow developments with PLS

As per the May 11 announcement [reference], PLS agreed to fund a scoping study that will produce ‘several thousand tonnes’  of lithia salts on site at Pilganoora, followed, potentially,  by a ‘demonstration plant’.
And then?
And when?

...... Given PLS’ long term hints to background work towards sustainability it’s clear the news did not come out of the blue?
