    Well it is true that Abbott had Turnbull on the front bench to keep him close and it worked for him in the February spill as there is cabinet solidarity. I would have been much easier for Turnbull to challenge from the back bench.

    I don't think Turnbull has to worry about keeping Abbott close, unlike when Abbott knifed Turnbull and won by just 1 vote Turnbull had a much more decisive win and I imagine that at least some of those that voted for Abbott would now be firmly behind Turnbull given the turn around in the polls vindicated the change of leader.

    In every ones best interest it will be better if Abbott quits politics, even those in his electorate think he should
