"First they need to get Phase 1 working at a reasonable level which, given their inability to meet their own deadlines released to the market for the repairs to be done to this NEW state of the art plant, may happen at any time in the next year."
With respect, there is a certain mindset spin apparent in your words. As any innovator setting up a new 'state of the art' system knows, artful cutting edge MODIFICATIONS are not 'repairs'
TO 'repair' means to fix or mend something so that it is BACK in GOOD working order AGAIN. If something fails EN ROUTE to creating ongoing, sustainable, GOOD WORKING ORDER for the very first time, then that my friend IMHO is
the tedious hassle of MODIFICATION. As someone who innovated new cryogenic oil reserve core sampling for Exxon I can tell you ...'taint easy.
'Teething problems' are no basis to return your child to the hospital requesting to swap it for another that is less problematical so your sleep isn't disturbed.
'State-of-the-art' innovative systems/processes that are quantum leaps forward that really count, do not have the molly-coddled spoilt consumer KMART Service Desk solution
when obstacles and 'fails' are encountered. They have to be fought through with engineering/I.T. Intelligence, TENACITY and RISK capital
The LAMP was not delivered in a box with an owners manual
and a money back guarantee. The men in the trenches are no doubt fighting tooth and nail to continue the 'climb out'
of this beast - that HAS lifted off the runway - and we,
just like the suits in the 'General's Tent' can only be patient and keep it funded - just like my bosses did at Exxon. They were, still are, and always will be, well rewarded for their patience in backing me (complaining all the while i might add lol).
I hope to emulate them with this puppy.

LOCAL NEWS
On the sidelines of the conference, I bumped into Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh. She mentioned that the recent floods in Kuantan were quite bad and unprecedented in their scale of devastation in recent times. Some 30000 households were hit and many of the occupants lost most of their possessions as the flood waters filled their homes. Life is hard for them now as they have to start all over again.
As for the Lynas campaign, Fuziah said the Kuantan anti-Lynas campaign members have managed to buy a small number of shares in Lynas Corp – which enables them to attend the company’s AGM and air their concerns to the other shareholders. The activists are vowing to continue their campaign, and they are monitoring the Lynas share price, which has slumped amidst difficult market conditions and teething problems.
