Unfortunately thats the way the big end of town roll - The spec miners need to get the brokers onside and they have to play largely by their rules. Not only do the Mums and Dads get the crumbs in the SPP - The Men in black get their allocation weeks before the retail plebs so they can take their stag profits and then move on to the next allocation at a discount in another comapny - Its all very well if you can get yourself onto their Soph's list but very few of us are that well heeled.

It does stink knowing you can short a company down and get a nudge and wink you can cover in the upcoming placements.
