Weakness may be partly due to impending rate rise. If we get 0.5% up goes the AUD$ which is a negative for QBE. It might rally this arvo on a 0.25% increase and would no doubt get excited of no change. Just a reason for the shorters anyway, among others. I recall a year ago it was $28 when the aussie was weakest. More sentiment than fundamentals
