In terms of relevance to CQT, the KCN takeover of DOM certainly supports JK's mantra that the ASX is aching for consolidations to form the next generation of mid-tier gold miners now that the big middies are heading for giant-hood (eg. Newcrest + Lihir 400-pound gorillas merging into a veritable 800-pound gorilla).

CQT obviously wants to join this league: their market cap is alrady up to $278 million with the share issues for NQM acceptances to date, and that's before the completion of the NQM compulsory acquisition, the current capital raising, and the equity component of the HSK deal pursuant to shareholder approval.
