Portland, Victoria, Australia - 'Vote-1 Local Jobs' MP James Purcell has just called for a new nuclear power plant to be built in Portland in the hope that the cheap energy can save Alcoa's aluminium smelter.
You can't help but admire the MP's enthusiasm - despite knowing he will be butting heads with a brick-wall of nuclear ignorance.
However, chalk up 1 more point for the 'nuclear renaissance'.
