I know the idea of the Future Fund buying DBCT has been bandied about on this forum before, but does anyone think the timing of selling $2.4Bill of telstra as any coincidence?

It would be such a good fit for the FF.

The FF has plenty of funds to purchase DBCT without selling any Telstra shares however these funds are tied up in the money markets and may not be the wisest method of raising the money. Telstra sale was quick and easy and more importently DONE.

Possibible?? or am I just a half full type of guy?
