Bravo @Celestial so happy to hear your story and enjoy this pleasure with you and your partner. While not having the close contacts you have, I was all over the BHP break up story and built my holding in 2010/2011. I still have records of a mad moment when I plunged on 25000 shares at $0.27 before the reconstruction; the next entry in my book was $4.74 in early 2013. But I started out in the red - isn't that a common problem. If you can't laugh at yourself in this long term casino, you should learn how.

Now my current BSL holding is all free carried which frees me up to play MSB which I'm holding at $2.40 after much averaging. The recent fall back from $3.40 was a bitter pill to swallow which probably shows in my posts. Actually my partner talked me into holding on all the way down...Grrr. It's more a psychological game than anything else (with myself that is) and participating in this forum helps enormously to stay on my toes. Apart from one or two trolls I enjoy all the commentary and always eager to take a new idea on board. I think we are fairly safe at this price level but you can never be sure, and I trimmed the sails to a point where I can afford to walk away if it all crashes down. One lesson I've learned is that any stock I rushed headlong into - failed. I keep a watch list of 15 but only own 5 of them at one time.
