Thanks young1! Interesting reading. I've been wondering whether in the 'dark pools' the big boys trade actual shares or derivatives such as OTC CFDs. If they trade actual shares then at least the company should be able to have some visibility because transfer of shares got to happen to the share register. So I suspect it's derivatives.
