The only thing I can think of is the whole DSO/DB conspiracy....she must have been leaking info to mineral resources, maybe they were subtly shorting earlier looking for a hostile TO but failed miserably. Mulder is back on the job.
Might be responsible for the whole manipulation of the SP....for so long....
Mineral Resources is devious....once again speculation....not accusing, just thinking.
