Can you please help.
Or suggest where I could find further reading on the subject.

Is a Radon Cup the same as a Alpha Track radon cup or a different detecting devise ?

Is the Alpha Track cup only a brand name of another Radon cup ?

How does a Radon cup detect the difference between Thorium gas and a U type gas or can it, they the cups ?

Do all Radon cups have to be buried down 50cm or more ?
What is the ideal depth ?

And the time frame for a suitable reading as I read 3months in some cases and I have also read a lot less, which is rather confusing to a person like myself.

If have also read where a reading can be taken in the field from the tracking in the cups from the alpha particels within cup and I have also read where the cup must be taken back to the lab for checking.
All too confusing.

Now, as you have been there and been shown the magical cups I thought you just may know the answers.
