Cheers Goldy, to be honest I would rather it was an being called an IOCG instead of a Porphyry.

Porphyry Deposits by definition usually have vast amounts of low grade materials which formed from a series of perfectly timed events. Most common in recent past and around the pacific rim.

Notable on both American continents, the USA has massive 150y.o. operating mines while Chilean copper wealth is unmatched. But generally, deposits are only feasible with the presence secondary copper concentrations, like the ones perfected by Andean weather climates.

Unintentionally in my research I hardly ever read about Australian Porphyry systems, too old and eroding away or never lifted to our reach. Recent mountain building in PNG formed Ok Tedi, but you are lucky to find all the right ingredients.

It would be interesting to see what seeded Paris, deep down it may resemble Porphyry models with that epithermal silver crown on top. But, that is a pretty standard geometry while Paris geology is "scratch head" material.

    Cheers for listening fellow holders.
