Not that the idea is totally without merit, but IMO bringing the KMP plant to Dubbo is unrealistic – just can't see it happening. I've been reducing my position in ASM. I haven't totally given up on the company,, so will hold on to some (if for no other reason than wanting to attend next year's AGM in person lol), and keep an eye on ASM's (likely lack of) progress. I now think it's clear that Gandel is totally out of his depth – just a country boy that doesn't have the wherewithal to close deals with in a cutting edge field with other cultures/other vultures. He also appears to think his large holding means his responsibility to shareholders is the equivalent of doing what's best for himself, and prefers to keep a closed circle around him, creating what might be described as a corporate-style omerta pact. This is evidenced by the in-house promotion of Rowena (nothing against her, btw, she's been given an opportunity and taken it, and she's now faced with the unenviable task of undoing ASM's prior mismanagement). Basically, I think Gandel's and our interests do intersect to some degree, but they are not totally aligned as they should be, which is not a great state of affairs.
