re: PAS: No one to blame but management How do you figure $1.1b, looking at the 2000 AR I see creditors at $1.8b, and if they were borrowing through out the next year, this would have increased, also they probably had to stump up cash to cover their horrendous hedge book, apparently about an extra $1b.
You can't blame the banks, they took a risk lending to YOUR company (yes, your company, you were shareholders), and your management blew it, they mismanaged this mine into the ground.
Stop your whining, get over it and move on.
A tip for the wise, dont invest in a mining company that mines something that doesn't wear out and is the cheapest and easiest to recycle ie. zinc
