But the quality of the deposit speaks for itself, it's going to be smelted in Asia at some stage

Short term spruiking doesn't change anything tangible about a stock - other than maybe the equity in a margin loan which won't pertain to UMC - and frankly I'd prefer hearing nothing rather than the fluff we get from UMC's low grade wannabe competitors.

Rio and FMG being hard pressed is negative sentiment in the short term, then again UMS would still be a smallish deal or investment for them to secure some low impurity blending material
