    I wasn't trying to suggest immediate or specific opportunites for PTR, though aluminium has been in the news a bit recently, as has steel (Bluescope). I don't know all the cost drivers for all of them but I like the vision that Flannery is presenting. A resource that could have economic benfits in its own right - not simply to offset our own emissions. Perhaps we could be the Saudi Arabia of renewable energy LOL.

    Already Howard and the coal lobby have started their own fear campaign - loss of jobs, exports etc. Time to focus on the positives that could be opened up through carbon trading, not just the consequences of doing nothing.
