1)BHP. GRK are already onto the Olympic dam opportunity. Although I guess PTR may be looking to compete they are not ideally placed geographically. 2)Alumina. Not sure what temperatures they require, however I think it is too high for geothermal to be attractive. 3)Aluminium smelters. No-one is going to place one of these in the middle of SA. 4)Enhanced Geothermal at this stage of it's development needs to chase the top of the electricity price curve, not the bottom. Eg competing with diesel generation at Beverley is great, selling at high prices into European grids is great. Competing with Siberian hydropower, or criminally dirty undryed Australian brown coal electricity for Aluminium smelters is dumb.
