snookerque is right- and you can bet that the $260m was secured with more knowledge about the project than ANY of us know- particularly about SHIP north.

the bigger picture is there for all to see- but the poor history has jaded investors and there is no belief.

it is a reasonably binary event-if they secure the $65m - all the other pieces of the puzzle will already be there - no one would secure the funding otherwise.

also - there may just be a wee bit of influence from the boys providing the finance- be certain that they did due diligence and are feeling secure with their share of the pie
