that’s a good summary of how yesterday went down .... like a cup of cold sick !

I agree that the US is the future and market is totally untapped over there and ready to explode.

unless the VWAP gets back over $1.50 the deal is looking expensive for BET ie too many shares required to be issued to cover the $3bill share issue to TAB shareholders....

hopefully upcoming US news will look after the VWAP.

I think BET management would be quite shocked as to what happened yesterday ... and were probably feeling confident that the VWAP would improve moving forward after the announcement .

with the ability for BET to sign up new deals in the US at very little up front costs .... the TAB deal looks like one that might be worth missing out on ...... especially if VWAP is low at the time of doing the deal.

Not sure how many other ways that Matt Tripp can achieve his BET income improvement targets to get his performance shares .... without a TAB deal ???? So how much is he pushing this deal? I guess he could be the CEO of the TAB wagering and Media business and contract BET for back of house ... that would be enough to get his performance shares .... but would the TAB board see that as a conflict of interest??

anyway , I am confident this stock is heading well north without any TAB deal. .... US is the big big story ... they are gambling lunatics! ... and they will relish having a FIXED odds multi on the Basketball, baseball , American football into the winner of the Kentucky Derby!
