The primary reservoir for Amazon and Thames is the Miogyp Sandstone that is currently producing from the adjacent
Chalkley Gas Field and the Lake Arthur Gas Field. Secondary reservoirs are likely to occur in the Camerina Sands as seen in the adjacent Riceville Gas Field.
The well logs show smack on 14,000 ft Chalkley struck gas.
The earlier logging in our Amazon well may have been to assess gas shows in the shallower Camarina sands? Maybe?
