I share your view rockdoc7. At least the twist off happened in the vertical section which should facilitate a more straightforward recovery and continuance of operations.

It is certainly not all gloom. The influx of sand does demonstrate that there is significant pressure which is what fracking is all about - that is generating pressure in order to produce. It is understandable that some of what was injected under pressure should become free.

We must appreciate that these are drilling operations and risks and problems do occur along the way. The existence of pressure down there bodes well for the future.
