This sale doesn't look good to me. USD1.0mm will yield a small profit (if any) after accounting for purchase costs, and seismic. The remaining 2.5mm very much in the future, and very conditional on exploration success, not worth much after weighting for time and risk.
Reason stated for sale rather weak. A$1.3mm immaterial to their cash clout for any new aquisition.
Beware the ignorant poster, that has just been trying, with exquisite timing, to ramp up this (now dead) Cambodian asset, their "crown of thorns" I trust. Same poster upramping Kurnia gas as a 40% cert. Perhaps of claiming a gas "discovery", but I fear the odds a lot lower on a discovery of such value that results in cash flow back to shareholders.
