CAMEC withdraws takeover bid for OmegaCorp

Sydney - Wednesday - June 13: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Central African Mining and Exploration Company plc (CAMEC) has withdrawn
its takeover bid for OmegaCorp Ltd (ASX code: OMC).
OmegaCorp has advised CAMEC that it is bound to proceed with the
float of Mavuzi Resources Ltd (ASX code: MAV) and intends to do so.
OmegaCorp has also confirmed that certain of the relevant assets
have been disposed of after the announcement of the CAMEC bid.
On this basis, CAMEC says it appears a number of bid conditions
have been breached (with further breaches once the float proceeds).
