CAMELWOOD FURTHER EXTENDED
Highlights
• RC drilling continues to extend the strike length of Camelwood
• Diamond drilling continues to intersect nickel sulphides
Rox Resources Limited (ASX: RXL) (“Rox”) is pleased to advise an update on drilling at its
Fisher East nickel sulphide project which forms part of the Mt Fisher project 450km north of
Kalgoorlie in Western Australia (Figure 1).
RC hole MFEC010 has extended nickel sulphide mineralisation for a further 100m north
along strike from previous hole MFEC007 (Figure 2), now giving a 600 metre strike length
which is still open and being further drill tested.
Hole MFEC010 intersected 3 metres of semi-massive sulphides followed by 6 metres of
strongly disseminated sulphides from 119 metres depth.
The second diamond drill hole, MFED002 drilled 100 metres south of MFED001 (Figure 2),
intersected 0.4 metres of semi-massive sulphides followed by 5 metres of strongly
disseminated sulphides.
Rox Managing Director, Mr Ian Mulholland said: “We continue to be surprised by how
laterally extensive the mineralised system is at Camelwood. As would be expected with this
type of deposit we are seeing varying intensities and thicknesses of mineralisation in our
drilling. It’s still very early days in our understanding of the deposit, but we continue to have a
100% success rate in intersecting nickel sulphides in all holes drilled so far.”
RC drilling in two holes 500 metres apart at Corktree, 4km south of Camelwood (Figure 3),
and one hole at Silverbark, 3km north of Camelwood (Figure 3), intersected pyritic sediments
and highly magnetic banded iron formation, but there were no significant nickel sulphides
present.
Diamond drilling is continuing at Camelwood with hole MFED003 now underway a further
100 metres south of MFED002 drilling beneath hole MFEC003 (Figure 2).
RC drilling is also continuing at Camelwood with a further two holes planned north of
MFEC010.
