The Cameroon government unlike Congo does everything by the book to the highest standard of governance and compliance to international norms.
The use of KPMG to assess the feasibility was noteworthy to me also but then again it would be an open and shut case given Mbalam and Nabeba are tier one resources held in the highest regard in terms of production capacity, mine life, operational cost, grade & quality and the potential that what's been JORC proven so far to be just the tip of the iceberg so to speak.
The article also spells out clearly in chronological order from the very beginning including more recently when Congo mines minister Oba was received at the Unity Palace learning of the breakthrough, MINFI endorsing the project financially, to PM signing off on antitrust and CAPRA green lighting the project contract preparation after scrutinizing the submissions from the Department of Transport.
Mbalam Nabeba is now unmistakable the first mover of the Central African iron ore province. And Ding saw it's incredible potential in 2018. That's visonary.
Bring it on !
