Flummoxed, just rewording my thoughts to DEVous earlier.
I suggested disregarding the ANS discovery nonsense which I think is a distraction and a farce and we should instead focus on the big picture.
Despite the international arbitrations happening concurrently, Cameroon and Congo feel totally at ease and confident to push ahead with the project knowing
they will prevail when the judgements are passed in London and Paris in the future.
The video of Cameroon Minister of Transport in Brazaville and Congo Minister of Mines in Yaounde expressing jubilance and satisfaction reflects that confidence.
Further more if Cameroon didn't give Ding's consortium partners the reassurance that are to win, I doubt those global companies would spend a dime on the infrastructure. China regulators would have weighed up the financial and political risks before approving the multi billion dollar commitment especially they are selling this as part of the silk road narrative.
IMO Ding will be back in Sangha after CNY. The low guality regurgitated media article's date can't be relied on. It could be Feb or March for rail construction.
Like Ding says, the discovery is a fishing exercise. I think it will be thrown out by the court.
Bring it on !
