China Gezhouba : CGGC International participated in FOCAC Johannesburg Summit
On December 4, 2015, under the joint auspices of Chinese President Xi Jinping and South African President Jacob Zuma, FOCAC Johannesburg Summit opened in South Africa. As an outstanding representative of Chinese enterprises in Africa, CGGC International, on behalf of CGGC, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and related activities at the summit.
In China-Africa Investment and Financing Forum jointly organized by NDRC, ICBC and SBSA, Mr. Lv Zexiang, General Manager of CGGC International, made a keynote speech entitled 'New Power for Innovative and Development in Building China-Africa Global Dream' to demonstrate all distinguished guests and international mainstream medias CGGC's sincerity and charisma in joining hands with Africa for common development.
Yuan Baoyi, Deputy General Manager, attended in High-level Dialogue between Chinese-African Leaders and Business Communities and the 5th Conference of China-Africa Business Forum jointly organized by Ministry of Commerce P.R.C, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Department of Trade and Industry, The Republic of South Africa, to discuss China-Africa cooperation in various fields and development of China-Africa economic and trade relations with enterprise and academics elites.
During this Summit, CGGC International also participated in activities as China-South Africa Trade & Investment Seminar, China-South Africa Enterprise Counterparts Seminar, and signed MOU with Ministry of Finance of Malawi for financing Kammwamba Coal-fired Power Plant, and trilateral cooperation agreement with ICBC and Itobe Coal-Electricity Company of Nigeria for Itobe Coal-fired Power Plant Project.
