As for the Mbalam Iron Ore project, the Cameroon Iron Company, (Cam Iron SA), the project's executing firm, has carried out the environmental and social studies of the project and the report forwarded to the Ministry of Environment and Nature Protection. The firm recently held a series of meetings with the State to continue negotiation of the fiscal and development terms for the project ahead of completion of the contract agreement expected to be signed early this year.
