I agree completely. Those two quotes give the impression of SDL ceding all infrastructure control and revenue streams to the Cameroon Government. That last quote is exactly what I was discussing with Fizzy before westcott entered into the conversation.
The Cameroon Government leads the way in development of the infrastructure using Chinese SOE financing and construction. SDL bows out of all things transport infrastructure related.
IMO this would be a very good thing for the company. SDL simply becomes a customer of the Government owned infrastructure, nothing more. No extra revenue streams, maybe a concession on the tariffs for work completed on design etc.
Westcott is trying to say this has been the plan all along Fizzy, which isn't correct as I'm sure you'd be aware.
