How much is a portfolio of shares worth that can generate $ 25 000 in franking credits ?
On the face of it sounds harsh but a bit of clarity would be nice.
Honest question ...Does it mean that the companies she has invested in have payed out approx $75 000 in dividends for the year?

So with my limited calculation process ....One would have to own 19 379 CBA shares worth $ 1.3 million to produce $25 000 of franking credits ?
If that is correct (and I am not saying it is) please don't give sob stories about affording rent!
Good luck getting anyone to protest ...
