A yes vote does not mean that SDL holders are any more likely to be paid. That decision lies with CDB. I made the call a year ago when the offer was 57c, but don't wait for me to say it, the share price says it all.
A yes vote however does mean that no counter bidder (doubt there will be any) is going to bid above 45c. Rather than wait for a potential bidder to show their hand, the Company pushed ahead with a vote to declare fair value (45c).
