Has anyone else noticed the failure of Julia's comrades to unconditionally support her?
I have dealt with the ATO for a couple of decades now. Just recently I was given a "friendly" reminder that all my transactions regarding PAYG and BAS would be thoroughly cross referenced to ensure I was contributing my share to the ALP's fantasy world.
Have not voted before but those days are now over.
I have never asked for a handout (dole, AUStudy or what you will) preferring instead to make my own way in the world. Life would be easier if I had just rolled over and claimed some sort of benefit, entitlement, etc. but sadly I still believe that character counts.
If Gillard/ALP wins another term I will know what Australia is really like and will act/invest accordingly.
