There are some nice people that live in Liverpool , with a surprisingly good kind community , but most of the developments commercial , condos and hotels in that area that went up around 1995 to 2000 are now slums and empty shop fronts , maybe ok to rent but to think about capital appreciation in the next 5 years I would say forget it

Was in Katoomba a few weeks ago and spoke with a real estate there , its stagnant , great tourist destination , but the workers there are a desperate lot , plenty of meth heads , and a high murder rate of young women , over the last 25 years for a small population , cold to we had to have the fire going 2 weeks ago middle of summer !
