    Comparing the US to Australia is ridiculous.
    US have a right to a gun it’s in their constitution…..hand guns are the most common …. To get one the general test is I have not shot anyone yet and I need it for person protection.
    Many countries can’t inflict any tests.

    I don’t support the personal ownership of any handgun other than regular sport shooter never have.
    But the current rule governing bolt action rifles with magazines non removable of no more than 6 I think is wrong and I always will.

    I do understand many people are afraid of all gun but it is not a rational fear.
    I grew up with them and properly handed they are safer than car ownership.

    There are far more effect means of killing if that is you intent as we have seen and some are available at hardware stores.
    I would suggest to you that we will see more of such action because the knowledge to create such devastation is now so easily available.
    Not to mention the passive killer which we have chosen to tax or ignore.

    carpediem comments are the most intelligent line in my view and anything that insights such acts should be removed.
