if wannabes fall away after they have professed faith it proves that their faith-commitment was not absolute, and so they will not be counted among the saved ... i know of several in this category, one a youngish woman, very bright, who had some sort of conversion having encountered the writings of Francis Schaeffer but was a leftie as well and could not surrender her intellctual pride to the demands of following Christ ... and her fat loud-mouth sister fell away because she could not find a man who liked her enough to marry her (oh right! blame God, not your fatness and loud mouth) ...
