I think Australia is trying too hard to please other nations and people in other countries. It should stand on its record of being a civilized and compassionate society and let facts and truth verify our record. We should not be so apologetic for events that are beyond our control.
It is impossible for any nation or any government to prevent crimes being committed, racially based or not.
