olive what are you on about? Rabbis For Human Rights

is the only organization in Israel today concerned specifically with giving voice to the Jewish tradition of human rights.

RHR teaches a different understanding of the Jewish tradition.

RHR is also the only Israeli rabbinic organization comprised of Reform, Orthodox, Conservative and Reconstructionist rabbis and students.

RHR counts among its members rabbis in national leadership positions, as well as educators and congregational rabbis capable of influencing change from the grass roots.

RHR is an important outlet for information on human rights in Israel and the territories.

RHR is widely respected by journalists and other human rights organizations, and is often quoted in international media.

A little background on Rabbi Forman

Israeli Reform rabbi probes human rights in talks here

It was during the first intifada that Rabbi David Forman founded the group Rabbis for Human Rights.

50 Ways to be Jewish, Or: Simon & Garfunkel, 'Jesus Loves You Less than You Will Know'" by David J. Forman (294 pages, Gefen, $19.95).

    1. No mainstream Orthodox rabbi will sit on the same panel as a reform reconstructionist or conservative Rabbi especially in matters of intgerity such as the safety of Jews in Israel. This would include Rabbis from Jews for Jesus whom our group finds to be not only messianic but highly deceptive. We are Christian Evangelists. These people claim to be Jews are in fact charlattans. No Rabbi would come within a bulls roar of them. This has been confirmed by Rabbis who have given presentations to our study groups.

    2. I have searched Google high and low and cannot find one recognised orthodox Rabbi on his council despite his website claiming that there are such rabbis in board.

    2. I have no difficulties with the concept of Christianity within the Jewish expectations of Redemption however his book "50 Ways to be Jewish, Or: Simon & Garfunkel, 'Jesus Loves You Less than You Will Know'" by David J. Forman (294 pages, Gefen, $19.95)." seems to fly in the face of what Jedaism itself teaches.

It would appear that a good sounding name has been hijacked and only the uninformed would fall for a play such as this Rabbi Forman.

More is available by calling the Sydney Beth Din. Their attitide in regard to Reform Rabbis reconstructionist and conservative, would be very enlightening.

    Cheers
