    More bag holder drivel

What discriminatory rules are there for hedge funds vs retail?

algos are just traders, even some retail traders use algos these days. Anyone blaming algos needs to look in the mirror for their problems

if you actually look at the companies that were the most shorted over the past couple of years there were good fundamental reasons for those short bets. LKE was a classic, remember the big pump back over $1 where everyone thought the shorts were getting squeezed? Not only did the shorts not budge, they increased their positions into that irrational buying.

CXO didn't go into care and maintenance due to short selling, they did because they were losing money from their operations. The shorts were simply correct with their positions

PLS another, more than 20% held short and they haven't budged on the feeble rally attempts to squeeze them ... Their bet is lithium is over supplied and that situation will remain, you're welcome to take the other side of that bet if you like?

the big shorts get set near the highs, they don't drive the price down, they need long stock getting sold both to move the price down and enough to buy back their shorts without losing their profits

if you'd read that CHN scoping study with an unbiased mind you'd have gone short too instead of holding the bag and now crying about manipulation and corruption and blah blah blah
