The reality is what it is. We were all aware well in advance of the takeover/merger date of what would happen, and on both sides - SLR and RED - we had the option to sell before the event took place.

As a holder of both I was agnostic about the deal. I would have been happy to retain the status quo, and I was not against the merger, as ultimately I finished up with an interest in the same assets post-merger that I had pre-merger.

The SP will find its appropriate level in the marketplace, and in time I would expect that big RED will become a major player in the gold space.

Name calling won't achieve anything positive. As retail holders we're all in this together, and it's much better for all of us if we stick together and recognise that it's the big end of town that's our common enemy.
