I know the buy back is not as good as it could have been but I am still going to participate as there are benefits in doing so. Market price is determined from Feb 7 to 11. Next week I am going to progressively buy the same quantity I am offering in the buyback at 0% discount so my sale price should approximate my buy price next week If my offer is accepted I will still own the same number of shares. I will have a capital loss (most of us paid more than $11.34 for our shares) to use against future profits plus a sizable dividend plus imputation credits. If my offer is not accepted I will end up with twice my current shareholding. I am retired and don't pay tax. What am I missing??
