this is just a goldbug reply......maybe China is seeking control of this paper in order to force them to back it with physical gold and then they can exchange all their US dollars for gold. Sounds feasible. The Chinese are not stupid....and very patient. With all their money they will then buy McDonalds and brand 26 million chinese restaurants around the world......and sell all those restaurants Chinese chicken.
