Not true at all.
To get A2 milk you need a herd of cows that produce only the A2 protein - not the A1/A2.
The western world has its herds based primarily on A1/A2 producing breeds because these cows were efficient producers.
Farmers cannot convert from A1/A2 overnight. This is one of the "moats" the A2 Milk company has - though granted it is shrinking as time goes on. It is not a cheap process to convert as you need to change your stock.
The farmer needs to keep his herds quite separate, milk tankers need to be separate. Manufacturing needs to be be separate.
