It is a poor photo but the plume of mist would not be the mud system, more than likely it is the safety system run whilst running your dst. The whole point of the flare is to burn off what you are flowing (if anything is flowing) this mist is probably the water used to reduce heat from the flare. If there is no flare yet this could be one of two reasons:

1) The tool is currently shut in (not allowing for flow). These shut in times vary depending on your reservoir stabilisation pressures. Opening times also vary, but if if never flow you wont see much!

2) You have nothing to flow

For your sake I hope it flows, however with a share price drop you have seen i would assume the latter.
