Can anyone see any sense owning gold, page-2

check out the 10 year price chart of ASX : GOLD ETF.
the price has risen from $13 in 2014 to above $30 now. that's a reasonable return.

and the gold coins that I bought a number of years ago ( mainly for fun as a coin collector ) are now worth double the price I paid.
