For those who want to contribute to ongoing good governance but may not know how I have attached a checklist of some perfectly legit questions to ask when shareholders think something doesn't smell right. This excerpt comes from AICD.

these types of questions should open a conversation when asked in a curteous manner. If the Chair won't engage or is evasive it tells you just about everything u need to know. My experience is that you want to listen for some rationale behind decisions made, not necessarily listen for answers u might agree with. That intent comes thru in tone of voice when asking the question.
